A young English major and athlete at the Río Piedras Campus of the University of Puerto Rico, and her boyfriend, a young engineering student at the College of Agriculture and Mechanical Arts in Mayagüez, built—letter by letter, stamp by stamp, word by word, dream by dream—the awareness of belonging to a country that was under construction, not without heated struggles between sectors with diverse and even opposing interests. Revolución del amor en tres tiempos: cartas entre Tinti y Alexis takes us back in time to half a century before the world entered the new globalized era of software.

This Revolución... begins in the mountains of Borinquén, travels epistolarily through two university campuses with all the illumination that education brings to the human soul, and returns to its birthplace: Adjuntas. In this cold town, yet one of proven warmth, a sun of love between two Puerto Ricans illuminates the path toward energy sustainability and the noble and essential intention of safeguarding the environment. Thus, the letters between Tinti and Alexis demonstrate that there is no sun more luminous, fertile, and inexhaustible than love, nor a purer energy.
