The sun, meanwhile, signifies energy sovereignty. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eThe flag was designed at Casa Pueblo with contributions from Javier Hernández and artist Verónica Aponte, and first embroidered by Rebecca Rodríguez.
